About Us
Painting is the family trade.
Ray Hollis grew up handing his dad brushes on job sites in Taylors. Thirty years of Saturday mornings like that teach you two things: prep is everything, and your name rides on every wall you leave behind.
Ray started Hollis Painting Co. in 2009 with a used van and his father's standards. Seventeen years later the company runs a crew of six, and most of our schedule is repeat customers and their neighbors. We have painted some streets in Greer three houses at a time.
We are not the cheapest bid you will get, and we are comfortable with that. We are the bid where the estimate matches the invoice, the crew shows up when they said, and the lines still look sharp when you sell the house.

Show up like pros
Same crew, same start time, all week. If anything changes you hear it from Ray the night before, not from an empty driveway.
Prep before paint
Washing, sanding, patching, priming, caulking. It is slower and it is why our finishes last. We will never paint over a problem.
Stand behind it
Every project carries a written 2-year workmanship warranty. If something peels or cracks on our watch, we fix it. No arguing.
